Compost Pens for the Allotment

A busy and fun filled day at the allotment today when 3 Linkability service users, Caroline, Cath and Hannah with Rebecca their support worker and John their horticulture ambassador spent the day building new compost pens, generally tidying up, emptying the saddle back planter inserts and replanting them with some winter bedding. You can tell from all the smiling faces how much they enjoyed themselves.

The pallets for the compost pens were donated by our friends at Corcoran Close and transported to the allotment by Kevin from Mayflower Joinery, a local business who often supports us.

If anyone needs pallets for their own projects, Corcoran Close still have plenty available.
