Bright colours for the Firestation

Heywood in Bloom will be working again with the team at Heywood Fire Station on Middleton Road to ensure that we have a really good display of plants and flowers in the beds, the baskets, the troughs and of course the now famous boat.

As we prepare for this year's planting we will soon be moving our efforts to clearing the ground of weeds, and repainting the boat and fire engine planters before we get to the planting season.

Chris and I visited the station today and met with a member of the team to discuss plans for this year.
