Sponsorship and Grants
Working together for Heywood
Heywood in Bloom is funded through sponsorship, grants, and fundraising, and is managed and run by local volunteers from Heywood.
-
We seek sponsorship for our 13 Saddleback Planters that are outside St Luke's Church and Heywood Library.
-
We seek donations of prizes for our raffles and tombolas through the year.
-
We accept donations from individuals and groups to help support our other planting across Heywood.
-
We take tables at local fairs and fetes where we sell plants and produce we have grown, and crafed goods.
-
We apply for and receive grants for larger amounts of money to support our work.
-
We receive donations of prizes from local businesses and members of the community towards our tombolas and raffles.
-
We apply for Grant funding to cover our Public Liability Insurance, cost of entry into North West in Bloom, and our larger projects and equipment needs.
