Charities Fete

We had another successful day at the Charities Fete in Queens Park on the 6th September. We spoke with a lot of people, recruited new members.

This was the perfect opportunity for us to launch of our new sponsor a planter scheme and had details of this available on the stall.

We also ran a tombola with some great prizes thanks to the generosity of local businesses (see the list of Prize Donors on or Partners page). We also sold eating and cooking apples grown at our allotment, a small amount of other produce and a few plants.

All money raised will go towards the plants needed next year to keep the town centre planters looking bright and cheerful.
