Sponsor a planter
Updated: Oct 8
Heywood in Bloom are launching a new initiative for local businesses and organisations to sponsor our beautiful saddle planters.
We have 13 saddleback planters (as pictured below) of which nine are located at St Luke’s church and 4 are at the steps leading up to the library.
We plant these up twice a year, summer bedding for vibrant colour and winter bedding/spring bulbs. Each planter has 2 liners that sit inside.
Our liners are planted twice a year, once for the Winter/Spring season and again for the Summer/Autumn season, and sponsorship for each liner for one season is £30.00. Therefore to sponsor a full planter (2 liners) for the full year (two seasons) the sponsorship would be £120.00. The sponsorship is set at a level that will fund the plants and materials required to maintain the planter for the full season.
If you would like to sponsor a planter, or half a planter then your business name and telephone number would be added to a plaque (pictured below) and fixed to the front of the planter for the period of your sponsorship.
