Painting the Cptn Bill Boat

We are now stepping into our busiest time of year so we’re very pleased today to welcome Jo our newest volunteer to our team. Jo got stuck in with us this morning giving the boat a second coat of its new red paint. We also got the worst of the weeds out and started preparing the ground around it ready for the blue grass to go in. We rounded the morning off with some delicious cake baked for us by Isla.

Our friends from Linkability continue to do great work every Thursday at the allotment. We know they get a great deal from these activities but they are also a valuable part of our Heywood in Bloom team.
