Caring for Nature

Heywood in Bloom is very much about working across the generations to encourage a love, respect for the natural world around us.

Imagine our delight when one of our volunteers brought this fabulous bug house to the allotment.

Her 13 year old daughter attends Newhouse Academy where she has been studying tech.

She designed this bug house, and worked on it for over 5 weeks at school.

When she finished it she brought it home and told her Mum she had done it for Heywood in Bloom.
